Opportunity to improve warehouse operations Warehouse Associate – Carlsbad, CA A manufacturing company in Carlsbad is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join its team. This role supports shipping and receiving, inventory control, and timely delivery of materials to production. The ideal candidate has warehouse or ecommerce shipping experience, pays close attention to detail, and works well both independently and with a team. Responsibilities - Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety requirements. - Prepare and fulfill parcel and freight orders according to picking instructions. - Process transactions in Fishbowl and ShipStation as needed. - Receive incoming materials according to standard operating procedures and place them in inventory. - Supply materials to production promptly. - Receive and properly store finished goods and unused raw materials from production. - Restock workstations with materials, including ice and finished goods. - Operate a pallet wrapper and manually shrink-wrap items when needed. - Perform cycle counts and help with scheduled physical inventories. - Keep warehouse areas clean and organized according to food safety policies. - Report inventory discrepancies, warehouse issues, and food or personal safety concerns to management. - Communicate with colleagues and management, and work with the team to improve warehouse operations and maintain a positive work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements - Warehouse shipping experience in a fast-paced environment; ecommerce or Amazon shipping experience is a plus. - Familiarity with ERP software or shipping applications such as Fishbowl or ShipStation. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team. - Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. - Spanish-English bilingual skills preferred. Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with 8-hour shifts. Must be available to work during the busy season from Black Friday through Christmas Eve.
