The person in this position will be working on several projects utilizing blueprints and welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The ideal candidate will have strong fitting skills and both Flux-Core and TIG welding skills. *PAY: $30-$36/hr DOE *Schedule : Monday-Thursday 7am -5:30pm *Long Term Assignment Opportunities *Please submit a resume to be considered for this position Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities: •Flux-Core and hardwire MIG for other structural steel projects. •Fit and fabricate from prints. •TIG welding valve gate and other specialty projects. •Work on structural steel columns, beams, stairs, canopies, embeds, access ladders, handrails, grab bars and much more. Welder/Fabricator Qualifications: •Able to read blueprints. •Wire-Feed MIG skills. •Fit and Fabrication skills required. •TIG welding skills. •Wire-Feed MIG skills. •Strong ability to self-manage. •Must have proper tools to accomplish jobs. •Forklift and overhead crane operation experience. •Ability to read a tape measure and other layout tools proficiently. •Driver's License and insurable to operate a company vehicle for ship needs. •Pass a drug screen. •Must be willing to be clean shaven for a respirator fit test.
