Strong understanding of angles, miters, and material layout. Experience using hand tools, machine tools, and power tools. Knowledge of metal fabrication preparation processes, including: Grinding Sanding Polishing Drilling Punching Coping Cutting Understanding of material characteristics and how cutting methods vary by material type. Experience working with: Steel Stainless Steel Aluminum Forklift operation experience required. Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials. Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods throughout the day. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment.
