Summary: This role involves supporting CDL Hazmat Drivers, assisting with chemical deliveries and processing orders, and performing various plant-oriented tasks. Highlights: 1. Opportunity to work independently and as part of a team The job entails Riding with our CDL Hazmat Drivers in a 19,500 GVW Box truck to customer sites in the New England area, unloaded water treatment chemicals in drums and pumping them into onsite storage tanks. Assisting with preparing and processing orders for delivery at our Amesbury, MA facilities. Other plant oriented tasks to assist in workflow. Role Requirements Perform material handling operations at the plant and at customer sites. Ability to load, lift and move heavy objects. Physically can carry 50 lbs up three flights of stairs multiple times per day. Physically can move full 55-gallon drums (500 lbs) with drum dolly 50 feet. Able to perform bending, pushing and pulling on a daily basis. Able to wear all appropriate and required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Able to work with drums, chemical transfer pumps, hoses, and blending equipment. Receive direction from the supervisor and complete assigned tasks and required paperwork. Able to frequently communicate via both verbal and written methods in english to provide up to date information on delivery/customer issues and site information to the supervisor and field reps Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Able to be reliable, organized and detail-oriented Maintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs, training, and organizational/cleaning activities. Able to follow 5S workflow philosophies. Maintain basic computer skills Maintain a residence within 15 miles of Amesbury, MA. Continuous employment contingent upon successfully maintaining a background including driving record, drug screen, and criminal background check.
