This position offers extensive training in the operation of both manual and CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and brazing equipment. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT - On-the-job training program in manual machining fundamentals - Progress to CNC programming and operation - Learn from experienced machinists through hands-on mentoring - Develop comprehensive skills in precision measurement and quality control RESPONSIBILITIES - Learn to operate various types of manual and CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and brazing equipment to produce special precision cutting tools - Master the use of precision measuring devices to ensure material meets specifications - Follow and maintain quality procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations - Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in regular cleaning procedures - Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality IDEAL CANDIDATE - Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude - Shows commitment to long-term career development - Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality - Exhibits eagerness to learn and attention to detail - Values quality and precision in their work REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma or GED - Ability to read blueprints and drawings, and follow instructions (preferred) - Strong communication skills with co-workers and management - Capable of working independently and as part of a team - Reliable transportation - Perfect attendance mindset - Must be able to commute to Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 (in-person position) NICE TO HAVE (not required) - 1 year experience on CNC lathe, CNC mill, EDM, or grinding BENEFITS - 401(k) - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Health savings account - Paid time off This position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in precision manufacturing with a company that values and invests in employee development.
