Engaging role in a busy CNC Machine Shop environment Very busy CNC Machine Shop has an immediate full-time position open for an Assembler/Shipping Assistant - dayshift, Mon-Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - Overtime occasionally required when needed. Job Summary • Performs repetitive bench assembly operations to mass-produce parts manufactured in-house. Wraps and secures parts in boxes for shipping using automated packaging equipment. General Accountabilities • Bolts, screws, glues, or fastens parts together • Works in teams to assemble specific components of products. • Makes sure pieces are arranged correctly and properly connected. • Communicate effectively with other assemblers to make sure production processes are complete. • Wraps parts securely in foam and boxes appropriately for shipping. • Keeps work area clean and organized. • Wraps pallets and uses pallet jack to maneuver within warehouse. • Adheres to company policies and procedures.
