We provide quality products and expert service for commercial and residential projects. Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Sales Assistant to support showroom sales, customer service, and daily sales activities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working with customers, vendors, and our sales team. Responsibilities • Assist walk-in customers and present natural stone and PORSLIM products. • Respond to phone and email inquiries about products, availability, and pricing. • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable materials. • Prepare quotes, provide samples, and follow up on sales opportunities. • Close sales, prepare sales orders, process payments, and assist with order completion. • Coordinate with the Shipping Manager on deliveries and shipment status. • Follow up with Material Bank leads for PORSLIM by phone and email. • Maintain accurate lead, sample, and customer records using Excel/spreadsheets. • Send email blasts to Material Bank leads and follow up on opportunities. • Monitor Material Bank sample inventory and prepare samples for shipment. • Keep the PORSLIM showroom and sample areas organized and updated. • Promote products through social media, including Instagram. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience; architecture, interior design, construction, or related industries preferred. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Professional email writing skills. • Basic math skills, including quantities, pieces, weights, and percentages. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. • Computer and Internet savvy. • Canva and Instagram experience is a plus. • Experience with Mailchimp or Constant Contact is a plus. • Organized, self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented. • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
