Job Summary
The Order Entry Representative works in the Dispatch Center to ensure accurate data entry while assisting customers with ordering quality concrete and building materials. This position is responsible for coordinating schedules of deliveries, which includes order taking, order scheduling, delivery set-up, and effectively communicating with customers, drivers, and the sales team.

Compensation
$65-75k DOE
Responsibilities
Provide customer support for plant operations (assistance in day-to-day operations, inside sales, & record-keeping) - Primary contact for inbound calls, inventory oversight
Call customers to verify orders & obtain jobsite contact information; verify order details: material quantity, delivery time, slump requirement, plant location, specification of mix
Confirm that customer is ready; check with supervisor regarding pour details - washout areas, spacing changes, volume adjustments, etc.
Inquire from customer if the delivery amount is sufficient - if additional material is needed
Process POs, invoicing for customers, accept payments, ensure payments are processed prior to delivery, resolve customer payment disputes
Provide exceptional customer service & work well in a fast-paced, team environment
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Requirements/Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to interact positively with a broad range of customers, vendors, and contractors
Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatch systems
Attention to detail and able to multi-task
Preferred:
Prior order entry experience
Knowledge of ready-mix concrete and aggregates
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
