Summary: Seeking an ambitious and self-reliant individual to expand sales of Japanese ceramics at various markets and events, requiring setup, sales, and breakdown. Highlights: 1. Requires reliability, self-reliance, and ability to work as part of a team Setting up and selling Japanese bowls and other Japanese ceramics, chopsticks at variety of markets and events including a 5 week holiday retail market in downtown DC. During most of the year Eastern Market on Capital Hill is the main site, Historic Manassas Farmers Market, and others are included. We are looking for someone who can help us expand so that we can have 2 setups on the same day. Individuals need to be able to help set up and break down booth, starting as early as 5:30/6 am till 8-9am then sell between 8/9am to 1/7pm and then to breakdown and packup. Prefer someone who can drive/has their own vehicle. Must be reliable, self reliant, ambitious, comfortable assembling items, setting up tents, handling ceramics, selling and working as part of a team. Can also train if willing.
