Meet Hadlee! ?❤️ Hadlee is the sweetest girl! She's a Doberman or possibly a Doberman mix, although she definitely has all the typical Doberman traits! We believe she's around 1.5 years- 2 years old, but her exact age is unknown. She is Spayed and up to date in shots. Hadlee is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and very food motivated. She learned "lay down" in just one day! She's still young and will need someone who has the time and patience to continue working with her. She's currently working on jumping up on people, occasionally chewing things she shouldn't, and finishing up potty training. She listens well at home but needs more practice focusing and following commands when she's in new or distracting environments. She's also doing great with commands like "come," "leave it," and "off." Her ideal home: - A fully fenced yard with plenty of room to play. - Someone committed to daily walks, exercise, and continued training. - A home with another playful medium to large dogs would be amazing! - A home where she won't be left alone for long periods, as she does have some separation anxiety. Hadlee LOVES playing with other dogs! She's made tremendous progress learning to be gentle with my 5-pound Chihuahua but she doesn't always realize how big she is. She has seen cats outside and seems curious and excited by them, almost like she wants to play. I have not seen her interact with them in the home so I cant say how she would be. She would need slow, supervised introductions and training to learn boundaries with smaller animals. The "leave it" command is wonderful for this. Despite her energy, Hadlee also knows how to settle down at home. She's incredibly affectionate, loves to snuggle, and bonds closely with her people. She's been wonderful with the people and children she's met and hasn't shown any aggression. She's such a loving, loyal girl who deserves a home that can give her the time, attention, and structure she needs to thrive.
