Bruce needs a home

Description

Bruce is a 2 year old Boerboel that is not neutered. He is fully vaccinated (shots done 10/07/2026), heartworm negative, (Proheart 12 injection) and current on flea/tick medication. He is a good boy and I absolutely hate to do this but he needs a new home. He is also fully house broken. He is perfectly trained and obeys commands beautifully. He knows sit, lay down, stay, come, shake, speak, wait, back, leave it, release, and get it. He also is perfect on (walks on the left side) and off leash (walks right beside you off leash). He loads perfectly in the car and waits for permission to unload. He also will not touch his food bowl until given permission to eat. He also loves to play fetch! Bruce is good with cats but his down fall is that he is not good with all dogs. He has gotten along with every dog he has met except for one and he is one of my other dogs he lives with. The fighting between them has become too much and neutering Bruce according to my vet will not fix the issue (could make it easier but not actually fix the problem) due to it being an Alpha male personality problem. My other dog Bruce fights with has been with me much longer and has a connection with my daughter. Taking everything into consideration it would be best if I found Bruce a new home. I would like for the new home to do a meet and greet with any current resident dogs at the new home. I will say that Bruce has been to the dog park many times and never had an issue with any dogs as it has only ever been the one dog and he plays really well with other dogs that are not his house mate that he doesn't like. The disagreements between them are mutual and Bruce is not the problem alone and honestly my other dog instigates the fights usually. I am asking a rehoming fee of $250 for Bruce to ensure a good home and recoup some of his cost from his annuals at the vet. Please no emails, do not ask me for a code. Calls and texts only.
