Overview At Gallagher Re, we’re looking for a Senior Castrophe Risk Analyst to join our team and help analyze nural castrophe risks for insurance and reinsurance underwriting. In this role, you’ll work with advanced tools and da to assess portfolio risks, develop exposure models, and cree analysis procedures th support critical business decisions. This is a dynamic role where you’ll contribute to impactful projects, collabore with cross-functional teams, and help improve processes and systems to enhance performance. How you'll make an impact You’ll process and analyze nural castrophe risk informion to support underwriting and portfolio risk assessments. You’ll prepare analyses for realistic disaster scenarios, risk aggregion, and other risk measurement requirements. You’ll also manage projects and processes independently, coach junior team members, and contribute to process improvements. By leveraging your expertise, you’ll help improve products, systems, and procedures to enhance the function’s overall performance. Here’s wh you’ll bring to the role: Experience managing projects, systems, or processes with limited supervision. Strong problem-solving skills to address moderely complex challenges. Ability to coach and mentor junior team members. A collaborive mindset and a passion for improving processes and systems. Experience in castrophe risk analysis or a reled field is a plus. About You Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience Experience with castrophe modeling plforms including AIR (Verisk) and RMS Exceptional written and verbal communicion skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues Strong problem-solving skills and keen tention to detail #LI-BB1 Compension and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compension package. The base salary range represents the anticiped low end and high end of the range for this position.
