Job Summary and Qualificions
Nuclear Medical Technologist
Our Nuclear Medicine teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently reviewing applicions for a Florida-licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Tech, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassione and respectful manner. We prioritize pient care. Your tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist include but are not limited to:
· Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans
· Prepare radioactive isotopes for administrion to pients in accordance with physicians' orders; Administer and record dosages as well
· Perform diagnostic studies on pients using scanners or scintillion cameras to detect radiion emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film
· Position pients and adjust immobilizion devices
· Compassionely explain procedures to pients and addresses concerns
· Monitor, record and communice utilizing computerized documention (MEDITECH)
· Assist with transporting pients
Qualificions
Gradue of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program
Clear/Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Valid CNMT through NMTCB
Current Basic Life Support certificion
Recent experience as a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred
Ability to perform work th requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squting, kneeling, moving, lifting of pients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
