This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience while working alongside licensed structural engineers on a diverse range of commercial, medical, industrial, and residential projects. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. As a Structural Designer, you will assist with the preparation of structural drawings and engineering calculations, collaborate with clients and project teams, and continue developing your technical knowledge through mentorship and project design experience. Responsibilities • Prepare structural drawings and engineering calculations under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE). • Communicate with clients regarding project design and construction. • Develop a working knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards. • Conduct limited site observations to gather information for structural design. • Collaborate with engineers, drafters and other team members to deliver high-quality projects on schedule. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering. • Engineer Intern (EI) certification or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable period after hire is preferred. • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred but not required. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to take direction, stay organized, and manage multiple assignments.
