Research and evaluate design solutions independently Universal Staffing is seeking an experienced Entry to Mid-Level Designer for a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating 3D models and detailed drawings for customer deliverables. Full time - Monday through Friday . Annual Salary $45, 000 * Key Responsibilities • Create and modify 3D models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks • Maintain accurate documentation for production and customer deliverables • Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams • Manage revisions and maintain version control • Research and evaluate design solutions independently Ideal Candidate • Hands-on experience using SolidWorks in a production environment • Strong technical drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams Qualifications • 1–2 years of experience using SolidWorks in a drafting or mechanical design role • Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) or higher • Proficiency working with electronics, basic mechanical systems, and 3D printing • Ability to independently research and evaluate design solutions Preferred Qualifications • Portfolio demonstrating technical drawings, including exploded views • Experience managing revisions and version control using SolidWorks Vault • Strong organizational skills • Familiarity with Excel and Adobe Acrobat ONLY IF YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES PLEASE CONTACT : Carolyn@universalstaffing.com or call our office at 831-333-2150.
