Summary: Global Engineering is seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join their Site/Civil department to work on a variety of residential and commercial site development projects. Highlights: 1. Work on complex projects at the forefront of the industry Qualifications: B.S. in Civil Engineering required at minimum 3 years’ experience minimum Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil engineering tools. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team environment EIT and/or PE is a plus OPT/Work permit in USA is required at minimum. Responsibilities: Site/civil development including site layout design, grading design, roadway design, stormwater management systems design, erosion and sediment control design, hydrologic & hydraulic analysis, tree conservation Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets Conduct site assessments & feasibility studies for residential & commercial projects Conduct field surveys including topography surveys and construction stakeouts Prepare construction stakeout drawings, as-built drawings, BMP certifications Working in design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting Coordinate with end clients, architects, contractors, builders, local & state authorities Global Engineering is currently seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join our Site/Civil department in our Fairfax, VA office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the residential and commercial sector.
