Description
We are seeking a Manager of Transmission Line Engineer who will manage a collaborive and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission. The successful candide will serve as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems for some of the largest utilities in the country as well as regional utilities. The candide will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of all types of capital and maintenance projects from 34.5 kV to 765 kV.
Additionally, you will assist the team, as well as independently perform: engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, plans, and specificions, and prepare merial procurement and construction documents. In this collaborive environment, you will be working alongside project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management. The position provides the opportunity for you to develop an engineering team with direct report responsibilities. While also being accountable for managing client relions, proposal development, scope creion, and project management.

Locion: This position is a hybrid work position with the potential for remote work for the right candide loced in Pennsylvania or Indiana. Relocion assistance will be provided to those able to reloce within a commutable distance to Walled Lake, MI Cranberry Township, PA, or Indianapolis, IN.

Wh Sets You Apart (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, preferred, or Mechanical Engineering with twelve plus (12+) years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems.
Professional Engineering Registrion in least one U.S. ste or equivalent.
Experience with the following: PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE and/or FAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
Work effectively in a team environment; can also work independently.
Favorable If You Have:
Five plus (5+) years of supervising staff.
M.S. degree in Structural Engineering.
Track record of outstanding communicion to serve as primary point of contact for existing and perspective clients.
Business acumen with a record of understanding and meeting key project performance metrics.
Working onsite in a Leidos or client office is a possibility; some periodic travel may be required.
Ability and passion to develop staff through mentoring.

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
