We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of commercial, laboratory, manufacturing, and hospitality projects throughout California and beyond. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will oversee projects from planning through construction, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and play an important role in the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage electrical engineering projects from proposal through project closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
• Provide technical oversight of electrical system design and construction documentation
• Review project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and code compliance
• Mentor designers and junior staff members
• Conduct project meetings, site visits, and coordination efforts
• Support client development and business growth initiatives
Qualifications
• 7+ years of consulting electrical engineering and project management experience
• Strong knowledge of California Building, Electrical, Energy, and Fire Codes
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong client relationships
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
• PE license or EIT certification
• Experience with commercial, laboratory, manufacturing, or hospitality projects
• Familiarity with EnergyPro, eQuest, HAP, or similar software
