Collaborative and professional work environment Now Hiring CAD/CNC Programmer & Machine Operator The Countertop Company is seeking an experienced **CAD/CNC Programmer & Machine Operator** to join our stone fabrication team. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the complete fabrication process—from creating accurate shop drawings and CNC programs to operating machinery, matching slabs, and coordinating production. If you have professional experience with **AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, CNC saws, waterjets, and stone fabrication**, we would like to hear from you. ### Responsibilities - Create accurate shop drawings and CNC programs using AutoCAD and AlphaCAM - Program and operate CNC saws and waterjets, including the **Park Industries SABERjet XP** - Scan slabs and complete accurate slab matching - Plan part layouts and optimize material usage - Manage full slabs, remnants, and slab inventory - Coordinate programming and production priorities - Review measurements, drawings, and programs for accuracy before production - Identify and resolve programming, equipment, and production issues - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe slab yard and work area - Work closely with the production team to maintain quality and efficiency - Follow all company safety procedures and equipment guidelines ### Qualifications - Previous professional experience in stone fabrication — **required** - Proficiency with AutoCAD and AlphaCAM - Experience operating CNC machinery, saws, waterjets, or related fabrication equipment - Knowledge of granite, quartz, porcelain, marble, or other slab materials - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy - Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills - Ability to read shop drawings and production specifications - Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound production decisions - Ability to work independently while contributing to a team - Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to quality workmanship - Ability to safely handle and work around large stone slabs and industrial equipment ### What We Offer - Competitive starting pay of **$25–$30 per hour**, based on experience - Higher pay may be available for highly qualified candidates - Full-time, year-round employment - Monday–Friday schedule - Stable employment with an established countertop fabrication company operating since 1999 - A skilled, collaborative, and professional work environment - Hands-on experience with advanced CNC equipment - Opportunities for growth and increased responsibility ### Introductory Period This position includes a four-week introductory period.
