We streamline the entire permitting and public works approval process for homeowners, builders, and contractors throughout Los Angeles County. We specialize in managing complex municipal bureaucracy, handling everything from standard building clearances to specialized public right-of-way engineering approvals. Our scope covers A-Permits for minor street construction (including sidewalk repairs, driveway approaches, curbs, gutters, curb drains, and streetscape fixtures through the Bureau of Engineering), alongside full-scale building, zoning, planning, and environmental entitlements across local jurisdictions. By pairing local building code expertise with proactive communication, we protect our clients from costly delays and handle the city red tape from initial submittal to final inspection sign-off. What We Need You to Do We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Permit Expeditor to join our team on a flexible, work-from-home consulting basis. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, submitting, tracking, and securing a wide range of permit approvals across LA County municipalities. You will actively pull specialized public right-of-way Class A-Permits (sidewalk, driveway, and street-related approvals) as well as commercial and residential construction permits, zoning variances, soils report clearances, traffic control permits, and Certificate of Occupancy sign-offs. We need an independent self-starter who can directly liaise with plan checkers, city officials, and Department of Public Works inspectors, efficiently manage plan corrections, and provide our clients with clear, daily status updates to ensure projects move forward without friction.
