Drive efficiency and client satisfaction in case handling Pre-Litigation Case Management Supervisor Jalilvand Law Corporation (JLC) Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000 per year | Employment Type: Full-Time/On-Site Position Summary Jalilvand Law Corporation (JLC) is seeking a Pre-Litigation Case Management Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the pre-litigation department. This role is designed for an experienced case management professional who excels at leadership, process oversight, and client-focused coordination. The Supervisor will manage case managers and assistants, ensure compliance with firm standards, and create efficiencies that support timely, accurate case handling and optimal outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Oversight: Supervise pre-litigation case managers and case assistants, providing daily direction, mentorship, and accountability. Assign cases based on workload balance among case managers. Conduct regular audits of case files to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with firm policies. Provide performance feedback, coaching, and training to strengthen team capability. Hold regular team meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and align strategies. Serve as the department lead responsible for day-to-day operations, staffing, and workflow management of the pre-litigation team. Provide feedback about and approval for time-off requests for case managers and assistants. Case Management Operations: Oversee adherence to case management protocols, including deadlines, documentation standards, and communication procedures. Monitor statutes of limitations and escalate to attorneys when required. Review and approve demand packages and internal memos prepared by case managers. Review and provide feedback on case summaries prepared by staff. Respond to inquiries from case managers to ensure timely resolution of case matters. Ensure case managers maintain accurate and detailed case notes in the firm’s system. Client & Insurance Coordination: Serve as the first point of escalation for client concerns, insurance issues, and staff questions before involving attorneys. Maintain strong client relationships by providing timely updates and addressing concerns. Manage communications with insurance adjusters, including settlement discussions within firm-approved parameters. Collaborate with intake specialists, demand writers, and settlement staff to ensure seamless case transitions. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor productivity metrics for case managers and assistants and provide reports to management. Collaborate with HR on 90-Day and end of year performance reviews for case managers and assistants. Track case resolution timelines, quality of demand packages, and settlement outcomes. Contribute to achieving department revenue goals by ensuring efficient demand preparation and case flow. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction. Exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing staff performance, allocating resources, and resolving escalated client or case issues. Provide input on hiring, promotion, and disciplinary decisions in collaboration with firm management. Training & Development: Support onboarding and training of new pre-litigation staff. Recommend and implement ongoing training programs in collaboration with HR. Set and monitor performance goals. Foster a collaborative and professional work environment that prioritizes growth, accountability, and client advocacy. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in personal injury case management, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of personal injury claims, medical treatment tracking, demand preparation, and settlement processes. Proven ability to train, mentor, and supervise staff. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client and adjuster interactions. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines. Proficiency in case management software (Filevine preferred). Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required. Skills and Competencies: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to lead a team and at the same time, take direction from supervising attorney. Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent proofreading/editing ability. Skilled at monitoring performance metrics and driving accountability. Ability to balance client satisfaction with firm goals and deadlines.
