We are seeking an Associate Attorney. Qualifications: A candidate must possess at least the following: -Licensed to practice law in California. -1-5 Years experience as an attorney. -Knowledge of California statues and case law, State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, court rules and rules of evidence. -Knowledge of ethical and professional standards of conduct. -Excellent research and writing as well as oral argument skills. -Ability to formulate, prepare and file motions, briefs and other legal documents. -Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. -Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing. -Ability to take initiative and to manage and maintain successful relationships with clients, other professionals, colleagues and support staff. -Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Opportunity. This is a five partner, two associate, rural practice that works collaboratively. All current partners began as firm associates.
