Job Duties: Expectations of HVAC Installer is to install units, zone boards, and thermostats, must be ready to repair, install or maintain all heating and cooling systems in a home or office building, and work is mainly focused on new construction. • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems. • Perform HVAC finals, may occasionally have to help with HVAC rough-ins; must be able to read blueprints • Install grills, returns, units, air handlers, heat pumps, zone boards, thermostats, and verify installed systems for new construction and service calls. • Must be able to solder/braise • Troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are noticed. • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings to keep temperature comfortable in the home or office. • Travel to different homes and businesses throughout the day and determine problems to repair or replace the system before the customer or client is inconvenienced.
