Black Diamond Roofing and Construction is an established, licensed, bonded, and insured contracting firm with 23 years of experience, serving the Tri-Cities area and surrounding regions. We are seeking responsible and hardworking roofers for immediate hire. The ideal candidate must be diligent, reliable, take pride in their work, follow instructions, and maintain a positive attitude. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Installing or repairing roofs on residential homes and commercial buildings, whether new or existing. - Removing old roofing materials and preparing surfaces for installation. - Installing new asphalt shingles, metal flashing, skylights, etc. Requirements: - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Minimum 1 year of roofing experience installing asphalt shingles. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute daily to our office in Richland. - Ability to lift 80 pounds (approximately 36 kg). - Personal tools and tool box. - Responsible and committed to high-quality work. - Prioritize safety above all else. - Comfortable working in varied weather conditions and at significant heights. ADDITIONALLY: If you have experience in any of the following, we’d love to hear from you! • TPO Membrane Installation: Proficiency in installing single-ply TPO roofing systems on commercial or industrial flat roofs. • Welding and Finishing Skills: Solid experience with hot-air welding techniques, including seams, corners, terminations, and metal flashing work. • Roof Evaluation: Ability to assess the condition of existing roofs, identify deficiencies, and recommend repair or insulation solutions. • Knowledge of Codes and Safety: Understanding and adherence to OSHA guidelines, job-site safety protocols, and all applicable building codes and manufacturer requirements. • Familiarity with Materials: Hands-on experience working with leading market roofing systems (GAF, Carlisle, etc.).
