Work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on safety Hiring Heavy Construction Equipment Operators / Pipe Layer & General Laborers (Federal Way) Established family owned site work contractor / construction company in business over 55 years is seeking qualified and experienced Equipment Operators, Pipe Layers and General Laborers to join our team. JOB REQUIREMENTS – Equipment Operators: - Must be proficient at grading, excavating, slopes and utility (Water, Storm and Utility). - Able to run multiple pieces of heavy construction equipment of various sizes and be able to help as needed on the ground. - Ability to read and interpret plans - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Job Requirements – Pipe Layer -At least 1 year experience at pipe laying and underground utilities -Ability to run excavators, backhoes and other equipment -Attention to detail -Ability to read and interpret plans Job Requirement – General Laborers -Use of hand tools and power tools as needed -Ability to follow instructions -Use proper lifting, carrying, climbing and other safety precautions to avoid injuries Requirements for all positions- - Must be a team player who is a hard working with good communications skills, be able to work independently and a person who takes pride in their work. - Organized and neat with required paperwork and the ability to accurately complete required forms and reports - Excellent safety record with the ability to maintain a safe work environment - Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Must pass drug screening - This is a Safety Sensitive Position Wage based on experience Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, Paid Vacations and 401K Plan We are an equal opportunity and drug free employer Principals only.
