Natural Playgrounds is looking for an experienced log cutter/chainsaw operator for full-time, year-round work in the Concord, NH area. We manufacture custom natural playground equipment and use logs and stumps extensively in our products. We need someone comfortable working with large logs who can cut material accurately to specified dimensions and safely operate specialized log-processing equipment. The work includes cutting logs and stumps to size and operating unusual equipment, including a large-diameter log cutoff machine with a 6-foot bar and an electric hollow-log machine with a 6-foot bar. Some of the work is done outdoors, while other work is performed inside our heated and cooled manufacturing facility. This is ground-based shop and yard work. No climbing or tree removal. We’re looking for someone with professional experience in logging, tree service, forestry, sawmill work, chainsaw operation, or similar work involving large logs.
