Assist with metal stud framing installation, layout, and assembly Commercial Carpenters Framers / Drywall and Installers Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Pay: $23–$24/hour Schedule: Full-Time Start Date: January 27, 2026 Job Overview Power Labor is seeking experienced Carpenters Framers / Drywall and Installers for a commercial construction project in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 5 people needed for this position, it involves primarily installing drywall on metal stud framing, with the ability to assist in metal stud framing installation when needed. We are looking for skilled, reliable tradespeople who can work independently and as part of a team on an active commercial jobsite. Key Job Duties & Responsibilities Install drywall on metal stud framing systems in commercial buildings Assist with metal stud framing installation, layout, and assembly as required Measure, cut, and hang drywall according to blueprints and specifications Secure drywall using appropriate fasteners and tools Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all jobsite safety procedures and company policies Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on site Experience Qualifications Commercial drywall installation experience Experience with metal stud framing installation Ability to assist with framing layout and installation when needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods Reliable attendance and punctuality Requirements Basic hand tools and finishing tools required All PPE required Ability to pass a Drug & Background Check OSHA 10 Required Why work with Power Labor?
