Supports data-related requests and develops scalable solutions Apply Now Position: Data Solutions Specialist  Location: Remote Salary: $100,000/year The Data Solutions Specialist supports the GS&S Data Management function by improving how operational data is captured, standardized, and managed across business processes. This role focuses on developing and maintaining structured data intake solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint Lists) and automating manual workflows to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and enhance data consistency across GS&S teams. Working closely with the Global Data Manager, this role will support the intake and management of data-related requests from stakeholders and develop scalable solutions that ensure business data is captured in a consistent, ingestion-ready format for downstream reporting and analytics. Essential Functions Develop and maintain structured operational data intake solutions using Power Apps and Dataverse.  Build and manage SharePoint Lists and Excel-based trackers to support operational workflows.  Automate manual business processes using Power Automate.  Support intake and triage of data management requests from GS&S stakeholders.  Standardize data collection methods across operational workflows to improve consistency and data quality.  Replace manual or fragmented tracking processes with structured intake solutions where feasible.  Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Power Platform solutions.  Provide light maintenance support for operational Power BI dashboards where required.  Ensure collected business data aligns with agreed standards for downstream reporting and ingestion.  Support ingestion-ready data capture processes.  Develop and maintain documentation for intake processes and automation workflows.  Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across GS&S operations.   Competencies Passion for understanding how data and operational processes interact across a complex organizational landscape.  Strong understanding of operational business processes and data workflows.  Attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency.  Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities across concurrent initiatives.  Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and communication skills.  Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.  Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational or technical issues with persistence and accuracy.  Well-organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools and related data management platforms.  Strong computer skills, including experience working with databases and business applications. Compensation Depending on experience, Securitas will offer $100,000 annually. Education / Experience Required: Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including:  Power Apps  Power Automate  Dataverse  SharePoint Lists  Microsoft Excel  Experience supporting business process automation initiatives.  Experience designing forms, trackers, or applications for structured data capture.  Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments. Preferred: Experience supporting Power BI dashboards or datasets.  Familiarity with enterprise data environments.  Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-100).  Familiarity with Smartsheet, including use of intake forms, cross-sheet references, and automated workflow notifications.  Work experience in physical security or security operations.  Basic knowledge of SQL or experience working with structured datasets.   Company Website: https://www.securitasinc.com  Securitas is committed to equal employment opportunity.
