LOST DOG - German Shorthaired Pointer (healdsburg / windsor)

Description

MISSING DOG — POSSIBLY PICKED UP Charlee is a 10-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer. She wears a hot pink collar with our contact information and has a large, hanging growth on the underside of her abdomen. She is not microchipped. We are deeply concerned that someone may have picked up Charlee, but despite her wearing a collar with our contact information, no one has reached out to us. We have also received no confirmation that she is in the care of animal services. Our security camera captured Charlee leaving our property on Chianti Road in Geyserville on Tuesday evening, 10/20. Two independent witnesses contacted us and were confident they saw Charlee on Tuesday evening, 10/20, along Highway 101 South near the Canyon Road exit in Geyserville. One saw her running along the freeway shoulder. Another reported seeing a man and woman stop traffic and grab her by the collar. They were reportedly driving a black hatchback-style car. The witness could not confirm whether they put Charlee into their vehicle or took her with them. We have also received an unconfirmed report from a witness who saw a man walking a similar-looking pointer in front of the CVS in Healdsburg on Thursday, 10/22. We cannot confirm whether this was Charlee, but we are following up on every lead. If you witnessed anything, recognize the vehicle, saw someone with a dog matching Charlee’s description, or have any information about her whereabouts, please call or text us. If you picked her up thinking she was lost, please reach out. We are not looking to place blame. We just want to know she is safe and bring our girl home.
