Support field crews with essential tools, equipment, and materials Triangle Concrete & Contracting, Inc., located in Garner, NC, is seeking a dependable, organized, and self-motivated individual to manage our construction yard, warehouse, tools, equipment, and inventory. This hands-on role ensures our field crews have the tools, equipment, materials, and support they need to work safely and keep multiple active construction projects running efficiently. Responsibilities • Manage the daily operations of the construction yard and warehouse. • Organize, track, and maintain company tools and equipment as they are shipped to and returned from job sites. • Prepare, stage, load, and unload tools, equipment, materials, trucks, and trailers. • Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials and supplies, including sorting, organizing, cutting, and bundling reinforcing steel (rebar) for upcoming projects. • Assist with rebar inventory management, material staging, and preparation of reinforcing steel for field crews. • Maintain organized inventory of consumable materials including fasteners, PPE, drill bits, grinding wheels, fuel, lubricants, and other construction supplies. • Monitor inventory levels and order materials, supplies, and consumables as needed. • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Clean, inspect, and maintain power tools, generators, pumps, saws, and other construction equipment. • Maintain and track preventative maintenance schedules for company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment. • Coordinate repairs, servicing, and maintenance to ensure all equipment remains safe and job-ready. • Keep accurate records of inventory, equipment assignments, maintenance, and repairs. • Inspect returned equipment for damage, cleanliness, and maintenance needs. • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure yard and warehouse. • Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other material-handling equipment as needed. • Support project managers, superintendents, and field crews by ensuring the right tools, equipment, and materials are available when needed. Qualifications • Previous experience in construction, warehouse management, equipment management, or a related field preferred. • Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. • Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. • Ability to operate company pickup trucks and pull equipment trailers safely. • Ability to use spreadsheets, email, and mobile applications for inventory tracking and communication. • OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). • Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check and motor vehicle record review. Preferred Qualifications • Forklift experience is a plus. • Experience with reinforcing steel (rebar) handling, cutting, and tying is a plus. • Small engine repair and mechanical experience are a plus. • CDL is not required but is preferred. Physical Requirements • Work is performed in both an outdoor construction yard and a non-climate-controlled warehouse. • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and heavier items with assistance or mechanical equipment. • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods. • Ability to safely operate forklifts, skid steers, trucks, trailers, and other equipment. • Must be able to work safely in varying temperatures and conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, dust, and noise commonly associated with construction operations and material handling. Schedule • Monday-Friday with occasional overtime and/or weekend work based on project demands.
