The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associes safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operes efficiently according to its specific tasks. Primary Responsibilities:The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Performs general electrical and/or repairs of and various equipment on company premises. Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work. Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operions. Performs daily safety checks. Performs maintenance, repairs, and installions on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards. Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situions. Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork. Performs other reled duties as assigned. The ideal candide should possess: Ability to work multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and co-workers. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situions where only limited standardizion exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, opering and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calcule figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
