Provide coverage and support to on-site Superintendents and staff One Stop Management is seeking a reliable and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and daily operations of multiple residential buildings. The Superintendent will travel between properties, inspect building conditions, address maintenance issues, coordinate vendors, and provide support and coverage to on-site Superintendents. Key Responsibilities Building Operations & Maintenance Travel between assigned buildings and conduct regular inspections. Ensure common areas, mechanical rooms, and exterior areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained. Identify and address maintenance, safety, and building issues promptly. Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance when qualified. Respond to building emergencies and coordinate necessary repairs. Provide coverage and support to on-site Handyman/Porters as needed. Assist with prioritizing and completing maintenance work. Support and coordinate porters, handymen, and maintenance staff. Meet vendors on-site and ensure work is completed properly and timely. Report outstanding or additional work to management. Respond professionally to resident maintenance concerns. Communicate building issues, repairs, and outstanding work to management. Maintain records and provide updates on building conditions and completed work. Assist with snow and ice removal and other seasonal building needs. Respond to urgent issues such as leaks, heating problems, power outages, and other emergencies. Follow all safety and company procedures. Qualifications Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Building Engineer, or Maintenance Supervisor preferred. Strong knowledge of residential building maintenance and basic repairs. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple properties. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Reliable, professional, and dependable. Must successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.
