In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw sheet metal into precise, high-quality components and assemblies used across various industries. Your expertise in metal fabrication techniques, machine operation, and blueprint interpretation will be essential to ensure products meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities: - Operated a variety of fabrication machinery including press brakes, CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses and forming machines to shape and assemble sheet metal components - Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately to produce precise parts - Set up and calibrate tools and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards - Conduct quality inspections during production processes to identify defects or deviations from specifications and implement corrective actions as needed - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety procedures are followed during machine operation and material handling with cranes or forklifts Qualifications - Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing roles with strong mechanical knowledge - Proficiency in operating fabrication equipment such as CNC laser cutting machines, press brakes, plasma cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and forming machines - Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and shop math for accurate fabrication - Ability to use measuring instruments including caliper, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision tools for quality control - Familiarity with safety protocols related to machine operation, material handling with forklifts, and general shop safety practices - Strong attention to detail combined with excellent hand tools skills for precise fabrications work - Ability to lift up to 70lbs - Ability to communicate with supervisor and customers - Reliable transportation - Valid Driver's License - High School Diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate
