Production Sanitation Associate
• The job location is in Carrollton, Texas 75006
• Must be available to work OT and weekends
• Temp to Perm
o Shift 2: 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm-23.10 an hour
o Shift 3: 9:00 pm to 5:00 am -24.15 an hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our operations, staff, and products. The ideal candidate is dependable, follows procedures closely, and takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, tools, and surfaces according to company and regulatory standards
• Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as scheduled
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies
• Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support sanitation needs during shift transitions
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs and checklists
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or custodial work (manufacturing or food environment is a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of safety and chemical handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
