Restoration Supervisor – Water, Fire & Mold
A growing restoration company is looking for an experienced Restoration Supervisor to join our team.
We are looking for a hands-on restoration professional who can take ownership of a project from the initial inspection through completion. The ideal candidate has strong field experience in water, fire/smoke, and mold restoration, is comfortable working with homeowners and insurance professionals, and can accurately document and sketch losses.
What You'll Do
Respond to water, fire/smoke, mold and other property-loss assignments
Inspect losses and determine the appropriate mitigation scope
Take accurate measurements and create detailed floor-plan sketches
Photograph and document job conditions
Create and maintain accurate job documentation
Use Xactimate to develop scopes and estimates
Supervise restoration technicians and subcontractors in the field
Manage daily production, equipment placement, drying and demolition activities
Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed according to industry standards
Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, public adjusters, property managers and project managers
Identify additional damage and communicate changes in scope
Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims
Maintain a safe, organized and professional job site
Participate in emergency/on-call assignments when required
What We're Looking For
Required:
3+ years of experience in the property restoration industry
Strong experience with water damage restoration
Experience with fire/smoke damage restoration
Experience with mold remediation
Previous experience as a Crew Chief, Lead Technician, Supervisor or Project Manager
Ability to accurately measure and sketch properties/floor plans
Xactimate experience
Strong understanding of restoration procedures and drying practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
Preferred:
IICRC WRT
IICRC ASD
IICRC FSRT
IICRC AMRT
NYS Mold Abatement Supervisor certification
Experience with Encircle, Matterport, DASH or similar documentation platforms
Experience working directly with insurance adjusters and public adjusters
Experience with large-loss projects

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
