We specialize in residential remodeling and home additions including both interior and exterior projects. Our goal at Sinai Builders is to make our customer's home a place they love to live. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years experience in residential construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow directions while working both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to develop your construction skills while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of residential trades. Qualifications for position: Highly motivated and dependable Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Knowledge of residential construction and interior/exterior building components Familiarity with common hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship Effective communication skills Ability to safely lift heavy materials Responsibilities: Set up, maintain, and clean construction sites, tools, and equipment Load, unload, and move construction materials Assist with demolition, excavation, digging, trenching, and site preparation Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, backfilling, and compaction Following Instructions from the lead carpenter/supervisor and work according to project plans Assist with residential framing, including floors, walls and roofs Assist with drywall installation and finishing Perform interior and exterior painting and coatings Assist with a variety of remodeling and carpentry tasks Assist with installation of Flooring Materials (wood, tile, lvp) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Must be comfortable working on ladders and/or scaffolding Take pride in quality workmanship and the finished product The level of independence expected will depend on experience. Many tasks will be performed under direction of the lead carpenter or company owner.
