This role involves applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal and fabricated components, ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial painting techniques, mechanical processes, and materials handling, contributing to efficient production workflows and high-quality finished products. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required. Operate airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply coatings accurately. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure coatings are applied within specified tolerances. Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, or manual techniques in a warehouse or fabrication environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting related to painting tools and machinery. Skills Experience with industrial painting, including airless paint spraying Mechanical knowledge related to industrial painting Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for coating purposes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during coating applications. Warehouse experience is a plus.
