Summary: The Parts Clerk receives and issues parts and supplies, organizes and maintains inventory records, and communicates with suppliers and maintenance departments. Highlights: 1. Communicates with suppliers and maintenance departments The Parts Clerk receives and issues parts and supplies and organizes and maintains inventory records for all parts stock, ensuring the stock level does not fall below minimum levels. This position also maintains a computer database of all part numbers and enters information such as manufacturer, vehicle maintenance reporting standards (VMRS) codes and warranty details and communicates with suppliers and maintenance departments regarding order status, delivery times and shipping information. High school diploma or its equivalent At least one year of experience with managing inventory Must be able to be forklift-certified by the company Should have strong inventory and data entry skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced work environment Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English At least one year of experience in Class 8 vehicle parts or heavy equipment retail Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite -- i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook Diesel mechanical background P1 and/or P2 ASE Certification Valid Class C driver’s license Safe driving record for the past three years *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. https://myjobs.adp.com/texasdisposalsystems/cx/job-details?reqId=5001227088506
