Pine Hollow Club is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Worker to help keep our buildings, equipment, and outdoor spaces safe, functional, and welcoming. This position performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep throughout the property while supporting daily club operations and special events. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, notices issues before they become larger problems, and works well with a team in a member-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Perform general building repairs and maintenance, including painting, patching, carpentry, door and hardware repairs, and furniture assembly. Complete basic plumbing repairs, such as addressing minor leaks, clogged drains, and fixture issues, within training and authorization. Replace light bulbs and perform basic lighting upkeep; report electrical issues requiring a qualified professional. Assist with preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and other building systems, including filter changes and routine inspections. Inspect buildings, walkways, restrooms, storage areas, and other assigned spaces for maintenance needs and safety concerns. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and communicate progress, completion, or the need for additional support. Help maintain outdoor common areas, including patios, walkways, parking areas, and outdoor furniture. Assist with seasonal opening and closing tasks, weather preparation, and snow and ice removal as assigned. Support event and operational setups, including moving tables, chairs, furniture, and equipment. Keep tools, equipment, supplies, and maintenance work areas organized and in good working condition. Assist outside contractors and service providers as directed. Follow safe work practices, use required protective equipment, and promptly report hazards, equipment failures, or incidents. Work respectfully around members, guests, and employees, keeping work areas orderly and minimizing disruption. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building repair, construction, or a related hands-on role preferred. Working knowledge of general repair methods and the safe use of common hand and power tools. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize assigned tasks, and recognize when a repair requires additional expertise. Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist across a variety of tasks. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Experience in a private club, hotel, restaurant, or similar service environment is helpful. Physical Requirements and Work Environment This role involves standing and walking for extended periods; bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing ladders; and lifting or moving tools, supplies, furniture, and equipment. Work takes place indoors and outdoors, including in varying weather conditions. Employees must follow safe lifting practices and use assistance or equipment when needed. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Schedule Hours vary based on club operations and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
