Opportunity to work independently and take pride in a clean property We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our multifamily property team in West Covina, CA. The Porter will help maintain the property’s cleanliness, appearance, and overall curb appeal while providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents. JOB DUTIES: Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, stairways, walkways, and other community areas Pick up trash and debris throughout the property Clean and maintain laundry rooms, fitness areas, clubhouses, and other amenities Keep parking areas, sidewalks, entrances, and exterior areas clean and presentable Empty trash receptacles and assist with trash removal Perform light cleaning and general property upkeep Assist with moving or removing furniture and other items when needed Help prepare vacant apartments and common areas for move-ins Report property damage, safety concerns, leaks, or maintenance issues to the maintenance supervisor/property manager Assist the maintenance team with basic tasks as needed Maintain landscaping areas by picking up debris, sweeping, and keeping areas neat Follow all property safety procedures and company policies Provide courteous and professional service to residents, vendors, and team members Other duties as assigned ✅ REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience as a Porter, Groundskeeper, Janitor, Custodian, or in multifamily/property maintenance is preferred Multifamily apartment experience is a plus Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean property Ability to communicate professionally with residents and team members Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently Must be able to work outdoors and in various weather conditions Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required for the position Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, and performing physical work throughout the day Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and safe work practices Must be able to pass any required background screening Reliable transportation to and from the property is preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Location: West Covina, CA If you are dependable, take pride in keeping a property clean and well-maintained, and enjoy working with residents and a property management team, we want to hear from you!
