Entry Level Surveyor
Are you a detail oriented individual that likes working outdoors? Do you enjoy learning new technology, orienteering, working in a team environment, and have spatial awareness with math skills and a desire to start working in a growth industry? The Land Surveying profession might be right for you.
Duncanson Company is looking for a motivated and reliable person to fill an entry level field technician position in our survey department. Typical Duties and Assignments
• No experience necessary. Willing to train.
• Field data collection using manual or robotic total stations and GPS receivers for topographic, boundary and construction surveying assignments.
• Data upload/download.
• Equipment maintenance.
• Potential for out-of-town work.
• Interacting with multiple project managers, site superintendents, field and office technicians and clients.
Abilities and work habits
• Organization and effective use of time.
• Demonstrated desire and ability to learn, lead and excel.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Positive attitude working in team environment.
• Work with other survey and engineering staff to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
• Valid Washington State driver’s license
• Willingness to work out of town occasionally.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
