West Coast Wire Rope & Rigging Location: Seattle, WA Schedule: Full-time Day shift, M–F Pay: $23 per hour. Job Overview West Coast Wire Rope & Rigging is hiring an Entry-Level Shop / Rigging Technician to support our shop and rigging operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and interested in learning the rigging and lifting industry. Prior rigging experience is not required — we provide on-the-job training. Essential Duties • Assist with fabrication, inspection, and assembly of rigging products (wire rope slings, chain slings, synthetic slings, and related hardware) • Use basic shop tools and equipment (training provided) • Perform visual inspections, tagging, and documentation of rigging products • Load, unload, and organize materials and finished goods • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and work instructions • Support general shop and warehouse operations as assigned Required Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness • Reliable attendance and punctuality • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Basic math and measuring skills • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record Preferred (Not Required) • Previous shop, warehouse, construction, or industrial experience • Forklift experience or willingness to be trained What We Offer • Stable, full-time employment • Paid on-the-job training • Opportunities for advancement within the company • Competitive pay and benefits package • Safety-focused, team-oriented work environment West Coast Wire Rope & Rigging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
