Position involves standing all day next to a moving conveyor belt picking wood/trash/debris off as it passes. Essential duties • Remove wood and other debris from the concrete crushing conveyor • Keep work areas around the plant clean and clear of debris • Follow all yard and plant safety rules, including PPE • Work outdoors in all seasons and weather • Cleaning screens at end of shift • Greasing of plant and parts changing as required. • Other related duties as assigned Minimum qualifications • Able to work safely around heavy equipment and moving conveyors • Dependable, on time, ready to work the full shift • Able to follow verbal instructions and communicate with the crew • Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions • Must be at least 18 years old Physical / working conditions (essential to this role) • Remove and handle debris throughout the shift; remains on feet for most of the day; work beside moving conveyors and heavy equipment; work outdoors year-round in all conditions. Preferred (not required) • Prior yard, plant, construction, or recycling experience • Familiarity with PPE and basic industrial safety This position will include some Saturdays and overtime when requested.
