This role combines forklift operation with hands-on production and warehouse support. Min 6 month experience on forklift. Requirements: Ability to pass a background check Steel-toe boots required What You’ll Do: Operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility (approx. 30% of role) Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers safely and efficiently Support production and warehouse operations (approx. 70% of role), including staging, packaging, and material handling Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts Follow all food safety (GMP) and workplace safety protocols Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals What We’re Looking For: Minimum 6 months of forklift experience (sit-down preferred) Experience in warehouse or production, ideally in a food manufacturing environment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout the shift Pettit Staffing is a EOE
