Build a career in the legal cannabis industry We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and hard-working Cannabis Cultivation Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility. In this role, you will be on the front lines of maintaining plant health from seed/clone to harvest. You will work directly with our senior cultivation team to execute daily operational tasks, enforce strict Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols, and ensure our crops meet the highest standards of quality, potency, and safety. Key Responsibilities • Daily Plant Care: Perform watering, feeding, canopy management, pruning, defoliation, topping, and trellising to optimize yields and light exposure. • Propagation & Transplanting: Take cuttings/clones, maintain nursery stock, and transplant plants through vegetative and flowering stages. • Pest & Disease Management (IPM): Execute daily plant health inspections for pests, mold, or nutrient deficiencies; apply approved biological or organic IPM treatments per facility SOPs. • Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain an exceptionally clean, disease-free environment by daily cleaning and sterilizing grow rooms, pots, trays, tools, and irrigation lines. • Harvest Operations: Assist with harvesting, de-fanning, weighing, hanging, and transferring plant material to the drying facility. • Compliance & Seed-to-Sale Tracking: Accurately log plant movements, room transfers, destruction, and harvesting data into state tracking software (e.g., Metrc) and internal logs. • Environmental Monitoring: Monitor temperature, humidity, pH, EC/PPM, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal grow room conditions. Qualifications & Requirements • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age. • Experience: 1+ years of experience in commercial agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse operations, or cannabis cultivation preferred (entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply). • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and walk for extended periods (8+ hours/day). Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly. • Attention to Detail: Meticulous work ethic with a strong focus on sanitation, accurate record-keeping, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Adaptability: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and maintain focus in high-humidity/high-temperature environments. Preferred Skills • Formal education or certification in Horticulture, Botany, Agriculture, or Environmental Science. • Familiarity with live soil, or coco coir growing mediums. • Familiarity with seed-to-sale tracking systems (Metrc) Work Environment & Physical Demands • Exposure to high-intensity lighting, heat, humidity, plant pollen, and organic odors. • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, eye protection, respirator masks, and Tyvek suits as required.
