This position requires a committed and reliable individual who is skilled in equine care and first aid. Irish Rose is home to 70 horses of all ages and breeds, each with a care plan tailored to its needs. The ideal candidate will have -reliable transportation for all weather conditions; -the ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly, including hay bales, water buckets, shavings bags, muck buckets, etc; -ample experience with horse handling, feeding, and daily care; -the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently both alone and with others; -strong observational skills and attentiveness to changes in horse health; -availability to work full time. 5 days per week including weekends.
