We work for several distinguished home builders & remodeling companies throughout San Diego county, in addition to performing customized installations. We are always looking to acquire top-quality, professional employees who take pride in their work. Desired applicants must be punctual, hard-working, and have the ability to learn the job quickly. Job responsibilities for this position include: -Training with lead installer to learn the process of installing household appliances (built-in refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, hoods, cooktops/rangetops, laundry sets, outdoor BBQ's, etc.) -Following directions / learning about the specific tools & parts required for different types of installation -Assisting lead installers with diligent maneuvering of appliances in & out of residences & work vehicles -Maintaining the organization of tools / supplies in the work vehicles -Ensuring all tools / supplies are fully stocked on work vehicles each day -Unboxing of appliances with caution to avoid damage to units -Assist with clean-up after each job is complete: clean up all trash; return all company tools & supplies to company truck JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Fast learner, detail-oriented & capable of retaining knowledge during training - this is VERY IMPORTANT!! -Need to be in good physical condition / able to lift at least 75+ lbs (NO EXISTING OR PRIOR back / neck / arm / leg / knee injuries) -Experience with construction trades is preferred, but will train -Must be available to work overtime & occasional Saturdays, if needed -Punctual -Professional appearance and demeanor on every job site -Must have reliable transportation to / from designated meeting site - typically in Escondido -Must have a valid driver's license & clean DMV record -ABSOLUTELY NO DRUG / ALCOHOL ABUSE OR CRIMINAL RECORD - background check will be administered **SUBMIT A RESUME, INCLUDING REFERENCES, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION **Opportunities for advancement & pay increases, depending on job performance Whether you are a skilled tradesman, new to the construction industry, or if you are looking for a unique and challenging opportunity with room for growth, we would love to meet you!
