We are rolling out a new wifi- and app-enabled dome experience with tiered memberships, and we need a hands-on product and program leader to drive that rollout from development through market launch. ## About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented, execution-focused Product/Program Manager to own the day-to-day management of our India-based development team and to drive our app from MVP through beta testing and market rollout. This is not a high-level strategy role — we need someone who will get into the granular details of the development process, keep the team aligned and accountable, and produce the documentation the business needs to move forward with confidence. You will report to Vlad, who oversees ground-level dome logistics and delegates market and testing needs, and will work closely with Jason on operations and logistics (parts, electronics, shipping) to keep technical and physical rollout in sync. ## What You'll Do - **Own product development execution.** Manage the India-based development team's day-to-day work, priorities, and deliverables against the existing product roadmap. - **Map the user flow** for the dome-facing app and drive the MVP forward based on existing roadmap documentation. - **Run beta testing.** Coordinate testing with our identified beta partners, track feedback, and translate findings into development priorities. - **Manage market rollout.** Plan and execute the app's rollout to the market, working with Vlad on ground logistics and testing needs, and with Jason on the parts, electronics, and shipping side. - **Own documentation.** Our electronics upgrade and installation documentation is largely complete — you'll build out the remaining pieces: end-user documentation for downloading, installing, and using the app, plus ongoing testing protocols and internal status reporting. - **Manage the app and user experience.** Keep the dome-facing app's UX coherent and on-roadmap as it evolves from MVP into a full membership-tiered product. - **Keep the business aligned.** Provide clear, regular visibility into development status, blockers, and timelines so the team and stakeholders always know where the product stands. ## What We're Looking For - Proven experience as a hands-on Product Manager, Program Manager, or Project Manager overseeing software/app development teams, ideally with experience managing distributed or offshore (India-based) teams - Strong documentation skills — able to translate business requirements and existing technical documentation into clear, usable materials for both internal teams and end users - Experience running or supporting beta testing programs, from coordination through feedback synthesis - Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and logistics stakeholders - A "get in the weeds" management style: comfortable tracking granular technical and project details, not just high-level milestones - Strong communication and accountability — able to keep a distributed team aligned and moving without heavy oversight ## Engagement This is a fractional, part-time role on a contract basis, with the scope and hours to be defined based on rollout needs.
