JT4 is seeking a Lead Computer Scientist / Full Stack Developer for their Edwards AFB location in California.
A Lead Computer Scientist III provides software and systems engineering services, generally within a work unit or group.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
Advise team and project managers on technical problems
Interact with customers and project managers on a regular basis
Work independently of direct supervision on projects of high complexity
Use judgment and initiative in developing complex analytical and computational technologies and methodologies for solving problems, which may be technically unique to the industry
Interpret customer requirements and develop and analyze the most appropriate approach to solve technical problems
Develop design of system/software and associated design documentation
Prepare and conduct design reviews
Implement design through software coding or hardware and appropriately document the design implementation
Plan and execute unit, integration, and system testing
Participate in maintenance and sustainment activities of system/software
Provide work direction or other guidance to subordinate technical staff
Establish and maintain positive customer relations
May support pursuit of new business efforts, lead proposal efforts, and act as a technical consultant
Perform other job-related duties, as required
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
One of the following educational requirements must be met for this position:
A bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience
A master’s degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of two (2) years of experience
A PhD in an associated discipline
CompTIA Security+ Certification Required or must be obtained within six months from hire date.
In addition, a Computer Scientist III must possess the following qualifications:
Proficient in C#, Classic ASP & SQL or similar programming languages
Knowledge and understanding of Windows and any related operating systems, SQL databases
Familiarity with the application of industry standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques
Experience with systems engineering and software development lifecycles
Effective oral and written communication skills
Good planning/organizational skills
Experience with computer-based systems and applications
Must possess a valid, state issued driver’s license
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $127,500 to $145,000 annually.

JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
