Job Description We are looking for an entry level Calibration Technician. This individual will be responsible for Calibration and maintenance of Test and Measurement Equipment. This individual would be a team player who is also able to work independently with a willingness to learn. This is a 40hr/week on-site job with flexible hours between 7am and 5pm. Infrared Industries (IRI) is located in Hayward by Clawiter and Enterprise (near San Mateo Bridge) at 25590 Seaboard Lane, Hayward, CA 94545. Infrared Industries an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specializing in the manufacturing of gas analyzers. Our ideal team member is a hands-on learner who asks questions and retains information while also reliably following directions and maintaining standards. Good verbal and written communication skills are needed. Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting. • Recognize failures and problems with set-up and determine the need for appropriate corrective action. • Work from checklist and customer specification to perform quality inspections. • Ensure that all previous steps and product documentation is completed prior to starting the testing process. • Follow detailed instructions both written and verbal. • Complete all required data reports and documentation in a timely manner. • Ensure that all previous steps and product documentation is completed prior to starting the testing process. Minimum Qualifications: • Experience working with basic computer programs such as Excel. • Self starter with good time management abilities and meet deadlines. • English proficiency (verbal reading and writing) • Ability to move 70-80lb. • High School Diploma or GED required • Some on the job training will be provided.
